EDUCATION
Attended public school in the Los Angeles City School District. While working as an architectural draftsman in the Los Angeles area, Eric attended U.C.L.A. in Structural and Mechanical Engineering courses.

EXPERIENCE
1948 - 1956 Apprentice to Frank Lloyd Wright, Taliesin, Wisconsin and Arizona
Worked as draftsman and construction supervisor for:
Walker Residence Carmel, California
Guggenheim Museum New York, New York
Tonkens Residence Cincinnati, Ohio
Monona Terrace Madison, Wisconsin

1956 - 1978 Apprentice/Assistant for Lloyd Wright, Los Angeles, California
Created original designs, working drawings, specification writing, structural and mechanical engineering for buildings. Managed the office and supervised construction on many residences in addition to:
The Wayfarer’s Chapel Palos Verdes, California
First Christian Church of Thousand Oaks California
The Good Shepherd Church Des Plaines, Illinois
The Institute of Mental Physics Yucca Valley, California

1967 Licensed in the State of California to practice Architecture

1967 - 1978 Associate of Lloyd Wright

Worked on a variety of projects including:
Student & Faculty Housing Project for U.C., San Diego, California
Solar Farms Project, Farming & Education, Apple Valley, California

1978 Established the firm of Eric Lloyd Wright Architects and Planners

1978 - 1992 Designed and Supervised the construction of several residences, as well as:
Humane Society Animal Shelter and Office Ventura, CA
Swedenborge Church Conference Center Westchester, PA

1978 - 1992 Architect for the restoration of many Frank Lloyd Wright buildings throughout the country, including:
Storer Residence Los Angeles, California
Ennis Residence Los Angeles, California
Auldbrass Plantation Yemassee, South Carolina
Joint Venture Projects: Taliesin Architects, Wiehle and Carr

1993 Helped establish Chi-Am Group, Inc. and Chi-Am Consortium, a Chinese-American architectural consortium.

1995 Worked with developers in Japan for housing on small urban lots.

1996 to 2002 Designed several residences as well as:
Design Consultant with Dean Andrews, Architect:
Visitor’s Center for The Wayfarer’s Chapel Palos Verdes, California
Designed in association with Jay Cooperson, Architect:
The Tenemos Conference Center Dormitory for the Swedenborgian Church, Westchester, Pennsylvania
