Alternative Building Workshop
Please join us in exploring a range of responsible energy
alternatives that can be implemented and integrated into
our lives for a more secure and sustainable future.  Kevin
Parkhurst, LEED AP, and Hannah Wear will present a
comprehensive review of current technologies and evolving
ideas including: energy conservation strategies, solar
electric and solar thermal systems, energy storage, wind
technologies, micro turbines, biofuels, fuel cells and more.
James Burr of Malibu Solar will give an overview of home
energy systems, state and federal incentive programs and
provide a demonstration PV system with lithium ion batteries and grid intertie abilities to help you
START SPINING YOUR ELECTRIC METER BACKWARDS!
Bring your own lunch & snacks.
